Your account and your information
This notice explains the Future Karaoke customer portal. We use your purchase email to verify that you own the account, then show your subscriptions, licence keys, registered computers and existing AI service usage. There is no separate password or public profile.
What we use
Polar holds your purchase and billing records. The portal reads your customer reference, account name, subscription and licence details from Polar. Card details stay with Polar. Our licence service already holds the venue and installation records needed to operate your licence, together with monthly AI writing and speech character allocations. Paid eight-hour passes also retain their purchase reference, computer binding, remaining app-open time and per-pass AI allocation totals; unused time is saved when the app closes. The portal displays those records; it does not collect a new song-play history.
Signing in
We email a six-digit code to the purchase email. Codes expire after ten minutes and can be used once. Temporary verification records contain the customer reference and a protected code digest, rather than the email message or the code itself. Login rate limits use keyed digests of the email and network address.
A successful sign-in sets an essential, secure account-session cookie. It expires after eight hours, or when you sign out. The private session record contains your customer reference, expiry time and security tokens. Expired verification, session and rate-limit records are removed during portal housekeeping. We use no advertising or visit-tracking scripts on account pages.
Why and where
We use account information to provide the service you purchased, and use proportionate security controls to protect accounts and prevent abuse. The portal uses our existing website hosting, licensing-service hosting and Polar. Email delivery uses our website host's mail service. Hosting services may maintain their own operational access and security logs under their policies.
The portal does not add you to marketing lists. Billing records and the underlying licence and usage records have their own service and legal retention requirements; signing out removes your portal session rather than deleting a purchase.
Your choices
You can manage your subscription and invoices through the billing button in your account. For access to your information, corrections, deletion requests, retention questions or concerns, contact [email protected]. Some records may need to be kept to provide your licence or meet legal obligations. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
